These folks always do a great job with my fur baby!
We bought our weimer from them years ago in a different location. We were heartbroken when they moved and delighted when they moved closer. Most animal lovers will tell you they like animals better than people and I get that vibe from here. They've always been nice, done fantastic work, and my dog loves them. I can't really ask for more.
I haven't been here in a while due to a family illness that consumed our last 2 years. I checked to make sure they're still here because I can't think of anywhere I'd rather take my baby girl. I'm saddened at the negative comments and wish you all would try them again.
Update: they no longer sell pets, but are only a grooming service now, and have a much more limited selection of accessories.
My pooch (Toto) has been here on several occasions. He's an older dog and they have taken really good care of him. When I pick him up he smells really good and has a cute little bandanna on. People here are really friendly and the prices are reasonable.
Been going to Joey and his team for years. He is the best I have ever seen! Our super shy papillon actually likes Joey. I've had dogs most my nearly 70 years on earth, but I have never had better care for anyone of my dogs than what Joey has given us over the years. One of the things I like about the Pet Place is that it is the only groomer that I have ever gone to where the groomers do not completely change every 3-4 months.
Very knowledgeable staff. They love their pets and take good care of them, often getting them ready to be more friendly for their owners and acclimated to humans. They have pet food items I can't find anywhere else, such as Dubias, which are much better for lizards than the usual crickets. A small local business with great contacts with local breeders, they can help you with a huge variety of questions and concerns. Great pet store!
Any business owner will tell you...Please say something on the spot if there's a problem. It is impossible to correct it after the fact. If you don't give them a chance to make it right, it's as much your fault for leaving dissatisfied.
I hope to get Jada in soon so she can prance around like the princess she is after being pampered.
