Ordered a large meal on the way home one night (we live 15 miles away) , but when we got home we realized that the food we received was nowhere near what we ordered. After a twenty minute conversation with the manager over the phone, we were promised a replacement for the order the following day. Once we arrived the next day, I had to repeatedly explain the situation to the staff. They then told me that they were out of more than half of the menu items.
So I go in there around 7:30 PM which may not be the best time to go into a restaurant expecting the food to be in stock, but what's the first thing you expect to hear when you enter a restaurant? You expect to be greeted. I got nothing of the sort. I was ignored for 10 minutes before they finally took my order. When they did finally acknowledge my existence and come take my order, it was grudgingly and the woman was rude as could be. She was more than willing, however, to say a quick shout to her friend that walked in as I was ordering. Now, when a customer says "I would like a shrimp poboy WITH red beans and rice with and extra side of mashed potatoes and a biscuit" one would think that you would automatically think combo. Not here, she figured I wanted everything individually so I didn't get drinks with the 2 meals I ordered then she charged me for an extra mashed potatoes that I didn't even get. Finally, it took 20 minutes for my order to get done. I've worked in restaurants and in the customer service industry and I will NEVER eat at this Popeyes again.
In closing, I would say to avoid this place
Terrible customer service. Not friendly and diffently not professional. Do yourself a favor and take your hard earned money where its appreciated.
I have ate Popeyes I dozens of locations and have never had anything near as bad as this. You couldn't taste the chicken through all the grease tonight. Absolutely disgusting.
Always takes a while to get through the drive-in but the food is good.
The staff are not very knowledgeable or caring about the work they do, and they are borderline rude to everyone
