The market is better, with a decent selection of some hard to find ingredients.
The restaurant is passable to poor, depending on the dish. Definitely avoid any seafood, as it's all from a can. If you want any truly good Korean food, you'll need to drive far North, well past Macon.
Great authentic Korean BBQ food. This place certainly didn't disappoint. Food was awesome, good portions, plenty of flavor. Staff was great and quick to refill waters and bring out the grub. Prices are good. The small shop that's also attached to the restaurant was just as exciting. Plenty of oriental/ethnic foods, snacks, and accessories available. Will definitely be visiting again. Overall it was an easy place to find with plenty of parking. Check it out.
Been here quite a few times, so I know how how it is... I came to the restaurant during the end of lunch,(not busy at all) received my side items, everything was good. Usually they bring out more side items once finished, but today she didn't, so I requested some more of the green beans, kimchi and fish .... Anyhow my server had an attitude about it. Then when I received my plate, I had old, burnt chicken, so I told another waitress who was by me at the time.. very nicely I said "Ma'am, this chicken is burnt and old" I can tell, bc I work in a restaurant as well. So she tries to explain, oh we cook on the grill and etc etc.. no ma'am, this chicken is burnt and old.. so she takes it back.. why in the hell I get the same chicken back...????.. needless to say, I won't be back..
great food, fast service. dont let the location fool you. had the bulgogi, it was delicious. comes with 6 side dishes. that and a drink was around $15.
Seriously one of the more consistent restaurants in the area. It's not quite Atlanta quality but definitely the best locally. And the fact that the restaurant is directly connected with the market lends itself to a well rounded experience. Prices might be a little to very high depending on what you order, nonetheless the food is worthy. Didn't realize the chicken bulgogi would be as good as it was! The dol sot bibimbap is still my go-to dish.
