I attended a catered event this past week. Not only was the food provided delicious, but the staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful. The clean, well-appointed room is to be expected at a Courtyard (consistentcy is one of Marriott's strengths), but the outstanding service went above and beyond my expectations. Kudos to the Courtyard staff!
Room was nice, it was large with enough space to walk around comfortably and fit 3 people in with 2 full size beds. There was a recently updated kitchenette in the room with a full sized fridge and dishwasher (different). The bathroom was very clean. The price was a bit much but it was a nice clean hotel. Only one elevator located off center of the building though and also no breakfast provided. For over $150 for one night I felt that should have at least been provided. You can hear doors closing on the same floor near you but other than that it is pretty peaceful. Well lit parking lot with rooms having view of the spaces. I was comfortable over all.
We recently had the aftermath of Hurricane Irma blow through town, knocking most of everyone's power out. Unfortunately when my power came back on, my laundry room and half of my kitchen remained without power. My landlord still hasn't been able to come out to fix the issue, so I haven't been able to do laundry in over a week. Today, I went in to get some studying done, and asked if I could pay to use the hotel's laundry room. The front desk lady happily obliged, making me a key and exchanging my cash for quarters for the machines. Another gentleman there even said that I could workout in their gym while waiting for my clothes! I ended up grabbing a bite at the Bistro instead (fantastic food, per usual). However, the washing machine ate a new bra of mine. When I say ate, I'm not exaggerating. My bra literally fell out of the washing machine in pieces. I brought this up to the front desk, who essentially said that there was nothing she would do because I was not a paying guest and their insurance policy didn't cover me(?) Now, I completely understand that I didn't pay for a room. But why issue someone a key to the laundry room to do laundry with your machine if they aren't covered? One of the managers is supposed to be giving me a call in the morning, as this happened after they had left for the day, and I really hope they are able to help me a bit more. :( I would have gone to the laundromat down the street, but only had one small load of necessities to do, and preferred spending my money here where I could grab a bite to eat and study as well.
Stayed here for 1 night while traveling to FL. Arrived late, but we were greeted by the very friendly front desk receptionist, who was able to assign us two rooms next to each other. The rooms were updated, comfortable and very clean. I also noticed that the hotel was very quiet and I did not hear other guests (which is unusual). We would definitely stay here again.
Nice room. Good area. Breakfast doesn't last long and they only have Starbucks coffee and no flavored creamer. Who in 2017 doesn't realize it's a great idea to have flavored creamer on hand if your gonna have coffee?!?!?! #inconsiderate
Although I live locally, I've been into this Courtyard quite a few times. Their lobby is the perfect place for me to study in between classes or before work, and the staff both at the front desk and the Bistro have always been spectacular.
