Rushes appointments. Doesn't seem to care about anything but the $. Even if you're not feeling well she's in and out 5 min tops but your office visit may be an hr just from waiting

Rarely received more than 5 Minutes with the Dr. at any one visit I had in the almost 2 years I put up with this "practice" (which is truly what this place is). Every appointment I had a long wait time even though I never saw anyone else in the waiting room. When I finally decided to get my medical records and leave, her office forced me to talk to her and explain why before releasing my medical records. Dr. Dawood was short with and interrupted me many times over the years I was there. I was a young (20) patient who has likely had RA since I was a child (I have now found out- she acted like nothing was wrong with me). Every time she came into my room she was interrupted either by her cell phone or some other catastrophe. All she would do was look at my hands, no other joints, which I have now learned is strange for a Rheumatologist. Don't waste your time. See a real rheumatologist. My first appointment elsewhere the Dr. spent over 3 hours with me trying to figure out my case which was way more than I ever spoke to Dr. Dawood or anyone in her office and was appalled at the treatment I was given at Dr. Dawoods!
This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. She does not care and she don't even try to pretend to care. She is awful. i went to her in pain and crying and she told me my pain could not be that bad. I was diagnosed with Lupus and she acted as if it was not that big of a deal. Run fast if you are a patient and if you're thinking about becoming a patient keep lookings. If I could give her no stars I would but google makes you give at least 1. ):
She didn't explain my diagnosis, I didn't receive a full exam (later found that out after switching dr), bed-side-manner leaves much to be desired, and worst of all, I just felt unheard. My average time with her was less than 5 minutes even when I had concerns. After seeing another doctor, I've improved exponentially and I feel like I wasted valuable time.
