I have been with Jimmy Spinks office for 21 years. I have found them to be helpful, accommodating and available whenever there was a need.
We have recently switched to State Farm from Geico. We thought having a local agent would benefit us, having a live person to see. Unfortunately, we realize now this was a big mistake. Jimmy is not personable or professional. Him and his staff are very rude. I felt like I was bothering them every time I called or stopped by. All we wanted was some advice on our policy. We will NOT be doing business with the Jimmy "STINK" group!!!!!
Everyone has always been helpful and awnsered any questions anytime I 've called or gone in.
Extended holiday hours? Hours were not even posted on door and there is no pre-recorded message when you call, just goes straight to the call center and states this agent is not available. Closed the day after Christmas, including the weekends as usual. So that's a total of 5 days. Clients cannot get in touch with their agents. Guess I will be switching to another agent!! This was just the last straw. Jimmy is unapologetic for his rude staff, even sending me a letter in the mail telling me how long he has been in business, awards he has, blah blah blah anything to make himself look good and NEVER ONCE apologized for his staff's behavior or the way I was treated when I complained.
Don't waste your time!!!! Find another agent!!!
The office staff is totally inept. I have used Jimmy Spinks office for 30 years and will have to find a new agent. I went in to change my insurance from a car I traded in to a new vehicle. I gave the lady my buyers order with all the information of the auto traded in, mu Honda Accord (so as to cancel it) and transfer to my new auto. Subaru Outback. They canceled my husband's Dodge truck and did not even start my new Subaru insurance. I did not know until 6 weeks later. Anyway, it took me 3 phone calls and 2 visits to the office and I was assured it was fixed. I found out today it was not! I will therefore find myself a new agent.
